Young cancer patients recreate viral photo for Christmas

Rylie, Rheann, and Ainsly, aged 3, 6, and 4 at the time inspired the nation when a photo of them hugging one another went viral last April.

All three young girls were cancer patients fighting hard against the disease together.

In July the trio all had great news to share. They were all in remission!

Now this holiday season they're back with another adorable photo.

Goodger and Scantling Photography took all the photos the girls are featured in and updated FOX 35 on their conditions.

"Rylie turned 4-years old and had what is hopefully her last surgery of her life as far as cancer is concerned!  Rheann turned 7-years old and her most recent MRI showed no new signs of growth!!! Ainsley is doing great and is still doing maintenance treatment and is still considered in remission. All three girls have been the face of Christmas for Ally's House (an Oklahoma based foundation that helps families who have a kid battling cancer financially and in other ways) they are still bringing so much hope and inspiration and have become the face for strength for others fighting cancer!"

They also described how the Christmas photo shoot went: "They had SOOO much fun this session! Ainsley had just gotten out of a very long isolation from having severely low  counts and for 10 minutes straight was rolling around in the wrapping paper, ripping it up, throwing it in the air, and just going crazy! All 3 of them had so much fun just being silly and making a mess! All of us were just cracking up like crazy! it was great to see them having fun with no cares in the world! They are still like best friends and every time they come to the studio they know exactly what do to and where everything is! (and yes I am talking about the toy stash haha)"
