VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. - I-4 eastbound shut down in Volusia County for two major crashes Saturday morning.
The first crash happened around 10:30 just west of where I-4 meets I-95.
The second crash happened around 10:50 just a few miles down the road at mile marker 125.
The second crash involved a motorcycle and an overturned vehicle.
At least one patient had to be airlifted from the crash scene.
Officials shut down I-4 in the area for about an hour and a half.
Crashes in Osceola and Orange Counties also involved motorcycles.
Highway safety officials are reminding drivers to be careful, especially with more bikers on the streets heading to Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach.
