Two men shot, crash into Orange Co. gas station
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - It was a violent Friday night in East Orange County.
Two people sped away after shooting at two men in a Mercedes that crashed at a Circle K.
Pearl Willis said she heard the shots.
“I saw spotlights in my backyard, and all of a sudden I heard there were gunshots.”
Deputies say it happened just before 11 p.m. Friday night.
Two men driving a dark car pulled up next to the Mercedes and opened fire.
Both men in the Mercedes were hit.
Deputies say they tried to drive away, but didn't get very far, crashing into another car, then wrecking at the Circle K.
After being shot, both men got out of the car.
Deputies found one of the guys hiding out at a nearby Publix.
They found the other victim down the street, about an hour later.
Both went to the hospital in stable condition.
One of the victims isn't talking to deputies and doesn't want to press charges.
The Mercedes that police say he and the other victim were driving when they got shot was a stolen car.
Deputies are searching for the two men in the dark car who did the shooting.
