Two dozen people rescued after trapped in hotel elevator

Two dozen people were rescued out of a hotel elevator Friday night, according to firefighters.
Daytona Beach Fire Department responded to the Hilton Resort at 9:40 p.m. for an elevator stuck with 24 people trapped inside.
Once crews arrived on scene they entered the elevator shaft and quickly determined the elevator was stuck in between the lobby and the third floor.
Firefighters removed the escape hatch and located 24 people inside the elevator.
All victims were safely removed from the elevator.
One person experienced dizziness and weakness, the other 23 people were not injured.
