TITUSVILLE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Titusville Police are calling in Child Protective Services after a 3-year-old girl almost drowned in a community pool Wednesday.
Surveillance video shows several children swimming unsupervised before the toddler went under the water for more than 2 minutes.
The incident occurred at the Timber Trace Apartments in Titusville Wednesday. In the video you can see the toddler flailing her arms and then disappearing. Fortunately her cousin eventually realized what was happening and pulls her out of the water.
After that a bystander on the scene, 18-year-old Breanna Moseley, jumped into action performing CPR to resuscitate the child. The little girl was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
