DAYTONA BEACH, Fla (WOFL FOX 35) - The Daytona Beach Fire Department responded to a vehicle that crashed into the Halifax River in Daytona Beach around 7:30 a.m. Friday morning.
Crews heard the crash nearby and ran out onto the docks behind the station to assist the adult male and adult female that were inside the vehicle. According to DBFD the vehicle lost control when they were driving west on Orange Avenue and hit a light pole on the south side of the street before landing in the water.
