Be extra careful on your Wednesday morning commute because it's International Walk to School Day and Central Florida schools are taking part.
Schools across Central Florida are encouraging parents and students to get their "Walk on Wednesday!" or W.O.W as the folks from Healthy Central Florida like to call it.
Best Foot Forward and other community organizations will address challenges like traffic, speed, crosswalks and driver safety.
Elected officials will also be on hand at various schools, holding signs advising drivers to slow down and yield to pedestrians.
