Threat against Palm Bay school deemed not credible
PALM BAY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A local middle school had increased security on Friday after a threat was discovered on social media.
Palm Bay Police Department received an anonymous threat over social media on Thursday against Southwest Middle School.
Police say the threat said, "A massacre is coming. I have planned this for two years..."
After a thorough search, Palm Bay Police announced Friday morning that the threat was unsubstantiated.
