Reward offered after body found in pond

Deputies are offering a $5,000 reward for any information in a homicide case after a body was found in a pond last week with gunshot wounds.
Orange County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim on Thursday as 26-year-old Aramys Johnson.
Deputies responded to the 1800 block of Canoe Falls Drive in reference to a crash with a vehicle driving into a retention pond.
Upon arrival deputies learned that the occupant of the car in the pond was involved in an altercation with occupants from another vehicle before the crash. Deputies found the vehicle to be unoccupied and the second vehicle involved in the crash fled.
A day after the crash a body was recovered from the pond and it was determined the victim had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies are asking anyone with any information about this homicide to call Crimeline at 1-800-432-TIPS.
