ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A lockdown was lifted Saturday afternoon at the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets after Orange County deputies were called to the scene after reports of shots being fired.
At 2:45 p.m., the Orange County Sheriff's Office released the following statement:
"As of right now, there is not a shooting at the Premium Outlets. Preliminary investigation reveals it was a fight and people panicked. It is still early in the investigation and deputies are sorting everything out. If there is more to release, I will update you as it becomes available."
FOX 35 contacted a couple of stores to confirm the lockdown, which we have now learned has since been lifted.
We were also told the fight was in the food court area.
