Police: Men steal $44K worth of Gucci purses in Orlando

Police are searching for four men that stole $44,000 worth of purses from the Mall at Millenia in Orlando.

Authorities say the theft happened at the Gucci store last Thursday morning.

The men can be seen on surveillance camera video running out of the mall with 23 bags worth over $44,000.

There were several store employees in the store at the time of the theft but no one was injured. Some chased after the four men but were unable to stop them before they got in a car and sped away.

A report says the men were in the Gucci store for only 35 seconds. Police say a fifth man was waiting outside the mall in a white, four-door Ford Escape. A customer was able to take a picture of the SUV, which has a Virginia license plate, with the tag VNK 4530.

Anyone with information involving this robbery or the men involved is asked to contact the Orlando Police Department at 321-235-5300.
