Passenger plane diverted to Orlando International Airport

- A Delta flight has made an unexpected landing at Orlando International Airport on Sunday.

An Orlando International Airport spokesperson tells FOX 35 there was an issue with a flap on the plane.

According to Delta's website, Flight 1827 took off from Fort Lauderdale at 1:40 p.m. on Sunday and was scheduled to arrive in Atlanta at 3:45 p.m. The plane landed safely in Orlando around 3 p.m.

Delta lists the plane as Airbus 321. There's no word on the number of passengers and crew on board.
