ST. CLOUD, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The reward for a missing St. Cloud teenager has been increased to $7,000.
The parents of Kristen Nash are doing everything they can to bring their daughter home.
“It’s all consuming, we wake up every morning and think what else? Where else can we look? What can we do? And, it's been that everyday for two weeks,” said Evelyn Murphy.
No one has seen or heard from Kristen since December 15, when she didn’t show up to school.
The last conversation before disappearing was a text to her mother saying, “I love you."
St. Cloud police said Kristen is driving a 2011 Ford Ranger.
They say she may have been heading to Baltimore, Maryland, to meet a male friend she reportedly was speaking with on the internet.
Her parents, Evelyn and Joe said that’s not like Kristin.
“A 16-year-old running away is not odd, but if you knew her, it doesn't fit.”
The family is holding off on celebrating Christmas until their daughter comes home.
“We didn't celebrate. We tried to go through the motions the best we could, but we didn't celebrate it."
