ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - An Orlando Citgo gas station was robbed twice, just months apart.
Now, investigators are looking into whether the same suspect was responsible for both robberies.
"He had his finger on the trigger. He was quite close to me, threatening us for the cash," said Bhaveshkumarl Patel, who owns the gas station.
The first robbery happened in January at the convenience store, located off Curry Ford Road.
The second happened on Monday morning.
"Somebody broke in." Reporter: "You think it's the same guy?" "Yes and no. He had a different type of clothing."
Surveillance shows the suspect shoving items into his bag.
"He took a lot of cigarettes, tobacco products, some of the cash, some of my personal belongings," he said.
Patel says the electric was shut off. He tells us he relocated from England a year ago to have a better life for his family.
He hopes police catch the thief before something worse happens.
"It makes us feel upset, frustrated, disappointed."
Patel says he'll make repairs and continue to do business, fighting for the American Dream.
