Orange County Schools will discuss issues concerning patriotism Tuesday.
The district is holding a workshop to discuss how it will comply with the "All American Flag Act."
The act requires all U.S. or state flags bought by state, county or city agencies to be made in the United States.
The district will also discuss updating its rule that states students are not required to recite the “Pledge of Allegiance.
Officials say the student must have a signed letter from his or her parent, notifying the school that they will not recite the pledge.
