Ocala man accused of beating man, video taping attack

An Ocala man is accused of beating another man and video taping the brutal attack, the Marion County Sheriff's Office said.
Kenny Moreno Martinez, 26, was arrested Tuesday on aggravated battery charges, according to an arrest report.
Deputies said the attack was so brutal, the victim is on life support with skull fractures, multiple broken ribs and facial injuries.
Deputies said they were dispatched to the 11290 NW 20th Street on Monday in reference to an aggravated battery that had just occurred.
Investigators said they found the 27-year-old victim unconscious and suffering from extensive injuries.
Shortly after, deputies located Martinez and arrested him.
On Tuesday, detectives obtained a graphic cell phone video of the attack that detectives believe Martinez recorded himself on his phone, investigators said.
Detectives said the video shows Martinez throwing a paving stone at the victim, striking him multiple times in his head and body.
During the attack, deputies said Martinez was yelling at the victim, telling him he hope he dies.
Deputies said they believe the attack was motivated by revenge for something that happened in the past.
Because of the new video evidence, deputies charged Martinez with Attempted Premeditated Murder.
Martinez was booked into the Marion County jail on no bond.
