There are new street signs along the beach at Cape Canaveral; however, some residents feel the signs don't fit in with the beach's atmosphere.
The new 8 and a half foot tall wooden signs were installed just past the dune line.
The signs have the nearest street names carved into them and painted with reflective paint.
One resident has started a change.org petition to have the signs removed.
Law enforcement says the signs help first responders in case of an emergency.
The city says it's received mixed reviews, but isn't opposed to changing it.
