Homicide detectives with the Orange County Sheriff's Office have released video of a murder victim, which they hope will help them solve the crime.

The body of 42-year-old Ethel Shannon McCarson was found on April 6 in a wooded area.  The video, released on Tuesday, is taken from surveillance cameras at the Greyhound Bus Depot, at 555 N. John Young Parkway.  The timestamp on the video appears to be around noon on April 4.  Scroll down to view the video.

"In the video, you will see Ms. McCarson walk through the top left-hand side of the frame.  She is wearing what appears to be a light-colored sleeveless shirt, a scarf around her neck, and a bag slung across her chest. Her blond hair is pulled back into a bun," explained Orange County spokesperson Jane Watrel.  "In the second part of the video, you will see Ms. McCarson walk outside the Bus Depot, engage in conversation with a black female, then eventually walk away.  We are interested in talking to the female."

Watrel said the woman seen talking to McCarson is not a person of interest, but detectives are merely interested in the conversation shared between the two women.

Police records show McCarson resided in Aragon, Georgia. Deputies say they aren't sure why she was in Florida.  A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.  Call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
