Law enforcement members volunteer to spruce up officer Anderson's home

- Recently members of both the Orlando Police Department and Orange County Sheriff's Office came together to help one of their own.

The law enforcement volunteers visited the residence of officer William Anderson to help maintain his home.

Officer Anderson remains in ICU recovering from complications after surgery. Back on July 13, officer Anderson was badly injured when he was run over during a traffic stop.

Officer Anderson's wife Jessica wrote the following message to the Orlando Police Department which they passed along on their Facebook page:

"The Anderson family would like to thank Sgt. Joey Pagan, Sgt. Terri Popovich, Officer Ross Hutto, and Officer Mike Denton from OPD and Deputy James Edmunson from OCSO for spending the morning taking care of the outside of their home while Officer Anderson continues to recover in ICU from surgery complications.

Thank you also to OPD CSO Lyndy Moore for organizing the effort and all of the officers and deputies that have visited and help take care of the Anderson family during this recent setback."
