Inmate caught after escape from Orange Co. Jail

- She could run, but she couldn't hide.

Alexandra Pablos got a short taste of freedom when she busted out of the Orange County Jail.

The Orlando Sentinel cites deputies, who say guards found Pablos' prison jumpsuit on the ground outside the jail's fence.

They say the jail immediately went into lockdown and they launched an intensive search for her.

They used a helicopter to track her from above, and dogs to sniff her out.

Eventually, they found her just across the street, hiding out in a closed business.

They say she was cowering near a truck there, dressed only in her underwear.

To top it all off, one of the search dogs bit Pablos when she was caught.

The jail officials haven't said how she got free, and they didn't say why the public wasn't told about her escape.

Pablos was originally booked on burglary charges.

Now, she's back in jail and facing new charges.
