ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - As the FBI continues to look for clues in the Pulse Nightclub shooting, they say no other gay clubs were a target, only Pulse.
When asked if that gives him any relief, Micah Bass replied, "Of course it does." Micah Bass is the owner of another gay club in town. He says the FBI has asked for surveillance video to see if Omar Mateen was in his club.
Bass says Mateen had tried to add him as a friend on Facebook. "I saw a profile picture of that and the one we're all seeing and I looked at the aerobic writing and it didn't make sense. It's a scary situation I didn't accept his friendship."
Bass says one of his dancers, Xavier Emmanuel Serrano Rosado, known as Little Georgie, died in the Pulse NightClub Shooting. "He was just an incredible spirit and incredible person with the best intent."
Meanwhile Bass plans to have a benefit in honor of little Georgie this weekend. "We'll be here on Saturday and I think this will be the safest place on the planet."
The benefit takes place from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday night at the Revere Club off International Drive.
