Florida hasn't seen a hurricane in ten years

The sunshine state is setting a new record: for the first time ever, Florida has not been hit with a hurricane in 10 years.
According to forecasters. Florida has dodged 4 hurricanes this season alone.
In August Governor Rick Scott declared a state of emergency  because of Tropical Storm Erika but that storm only dumped heavy rains in the Caribbean.
The last time Florida was hit with hurricanes was in 2005 including Katrina, Wilma, Dennis, and Arlene and in 2004, Central Florida saw hurricane Charley, Frances, and Jeanne.
