Fire crews rescue kitten out of wall

- Firefighters rescued a kitten out of a wall Friday morning in Titusville.

Titusville Fire and Emergency Services responded to a call on S. Brown Ave. in reference to a possible cat inside a wall of a home.

Lt. Ford, Driver/Operator Bowman and Firefighter McKoy located a small hole on the rear of the house.

The caller advised they first heard what sounded like kitten meows coming from the wall earlier in the morning.

The emergency crew was able to use a mirror and a flashlight to look inside the wall and found a very small kitten.

After 45 minutes, D/O Bowman was able to reach down and grab the kitten.

The family took the kitten to the local SPCA for evaluation and plans to adopt it.
