KISSIMMEE, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says that one person was killed in a crash in Kissimmee early Tuesday morning.
The crash involving a semi-truck and an SUV happened around 5:14 a.m. on Orange Blossom Trail and Evergreen Street.
According to a report from the FHP, the SUV and semi were both traveling westbound on Orange Blossom Trail. The SUV was reportedly driving behind the semi and failed to slow down, crashing into it from behind.
The 50-year-old driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
