Expect security to wand you at Orlando City, Orlando Pride games

If you go to Camping World Stadium to see an Orlando Pride match, get ready, you might experience something new when it comes to security mainly using wands.

Mother's Day was Kari Kerby's first time at an Orlando Pride match. She was one of many fans that went through security here.

Kerby said, "It was quick and easy for the most part."

Security is now stepped up at soccer games at Orlando's Camping World Stadium

"Yes, they wanded me," She said. "same as airports when they wand you down."

An Orlando City Soccer Club official told Fox 35 the added security will be applied to all major league soccer stadiums to ensure a safe environment for soccer fans.

We're told this is a league-mandated rule by MLS.

Orlando Pride is affiliated with Orlando City.

"Good," Kerby said, "I'm all about being safe, especially when my kiddos are here. Yeah, so, I'll take the wanding."

Cybel Brown, an Orlando Pride Soccer fan, told Fox 35, "I think it's a good thing, especially with everything that's going on. They heightened security, so that's great."
