Display of crosses at Orlando church honor fallen military members

On Memorial Day a local church is honoring the men and women who gave their lives for our freedom with a very visual display. The church hopes the somber display emphasizes what Memorial Day is really about.
1000 stark white crosses fill the lawn in front of Orlando's Greeneway Church; a tribute to American military lives lost.
Lead Pastor Dr. Wade Mumm served in the Army Reserves and he helped create this annual Memorial Day show of respect. "Each of these crosses that you see behind me represent over 13-hundred soldiers, airmen, Marines, Navy, and Air Force personnel who have died for this country," Mumm said.
The entire church community stands behind the effort. "It's very rewarding to be able to do this," Dan Haggard of the Greeneway Church said. "Just to give something to honor the veterans and fallen soldiers."
On Memorial Day we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our freedom; lives worthy of remembrance by all who call America home.
