Deputies search for car break-in suspects who targeted Flagler Co. park

Flagler County deputies say thieves busted the windows on several cars sitting near a park boat ramp on Saturday.

Investigators say they took reports from seven car owners who were parked at Herschel King Park.

They say the suspects got away with a gun, purses, phones, credit cards and, in several cases, they didn’t take anything.

A lot of folks were just left with a big clean up.

Deputies were seen patrolling the parking lot on Sunday.

Some boaters say after what happened, they’re on high alert.

“We actually was kind of worried about coming here today, so I made sure all the valuables were out of the vehicle and packed up,” Michael Strickland said.

Deputies say no arrests have been made.
