ORANGE COUNTY, Fla (WOFL FOX 35) - Two people are recovering in the hospital Thursday morning after a pair of late night shootings in Orange County. Now deputies are investigating if the two shootings are connected.
The first incident occurred just before midnight on Hope Circle Court in Orlando. Deputies say they found a 21-year-old victim with several gunshot wounds.
Before the victim was transported to the hospital he told deputies that he knew who shot him. Deputies were able to arrest that suspect. The victim is in critical condition.
The other incident occurred around 10 p.m. Wednesday night on Lucile Way and Westmont Drive in Orlando. That is where Orange County deputies say a 20-year-old man was shot.
Deputies say he was driven to the area by three men he barely knew. According to authorities those three men tried to rob the victim when he got out of the car and then they opened fire.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition.
