DELAND, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35)
A 19-year-old Deland man is accused of stabbing both of his parents multiple times early Monday morning. Jaelon Robbins was taken into custody early Monday morning after police in DeLand.
Police say the teenager does not live with his parents on Ravenshill Way. According to DeLand police, Robbins entered the home around 2:15 a.m. and stabbed his mother, 43-year-old Kristee Holloman, as she was lying on a couch. His father, 42-year-old Michael Robbins, was stabbed as he tried to intervene. The son then fled the scene but was later arrested.
Robbins' parents are both in stable condition at Central Regional Hospital in Seminole County. Police are not saying what they think led to the stabbing.
