Community leaders, officials gathering for Pulse victim candlelight vigil

- Orlando officials are holding a candlelight vigil at Lake Eola Sunday at 6 p.m. to honor the victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting one week ago.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will join with the Orlando community and state and local officials including Governor Rick Scott, Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs, District 4 Orlando City Commissioner Patty Sheehan and Orlando Police Chief John Mina for the ceremony.

Officials said music begins at 6 p.m. and the program begins at 7:30 p.m.

Officials said the road closures around Lake Eola will start around 3 p.m. and SunRail will be running starting at 5 p.m.
