ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35)
Hope and Help of Central Florida had their annual AIDS walk Saturday morning at Lake Eola in downtown Orlando.
The rally to help raise funds for HIV/AIDS in Central Florida started at 8:30 a.m. with local speakers followed by two laps around the lake.
Each participant raised money for awareness while getting out and getting some exercise.
Hope and Help were expecting over 1,000 people to come out to the walk and enjoy events at Lake Eola.
The Hope and Help Center continues to provide the community with vital services such as HIV testing, youth outreach and prevention, peer mentoring, medical case management, food pantry, insurance and pharmacy coverage and much more.
