Accused Ocoee murder suspect denied bond by judge

A man accused in a deadly shooting outside an Ocoee home faced a judge on Saturday.

Lucien Harris made his first appearance in Orange County court after deputies say he shot and killed a man in Ocoee's Lake Florence subdivision. He was denied bond.

"Lucien Harris, you've been arrested and charged with first degree murder with a firearm. Maximum penalty in the State of Florida for that is death," the judge said.

Deputies arrested Harris on Friday.

Families and friends honored the life of the victim, Lucius 'Lou' Harris on Saturday night. While there, Fox 35 was told that he was a known boxing coach and trainer.

Deputies have not released a motive in the case, but they say that their investigation is ongoing.
