Woman attacked near UF campus

- Gainesville Police are investigating two suspicious incidents near the University of Florida campus.

Both incidents happened early on the morning of December 10th near the 300 block of NW 15th Street.


The two separate victims have worked with police to create composite drawings that are notably similar.

In the first incident, A woman was grabbed around her midsection. 

The suspected pull her along, but he let her go when she started screaming.

An hour later, a victim awoke to find a suspect standing in the doorway of her bedroom. 

Police said the man fled when the victim's dog barked.
