ORLANDO, Fla. - A 2-month-old baby kidnapped in South Florida Friday night was found Saturday in Orlando.
The Broward County Sheriff's Office made the announcement through twitter Saturday evening stating that baby Taraji was found alive and at a nearby hospital where she was positively identified.
Deputies also announced they have Stephanie Augustin, 23, in custody, who was named a person of interest in the case.
Augustin was found in Fort Pierce, not even two hours north of Fort Lauderdale from where Baby Taraji was taken.
Taraji and her mother were asleep at a Fort Lauderdale home at about 11 p.m. Friday when intruders invaded and took the girl.
Taraji is being held overnight at Arnold Palmer Hospital as a precaution. Investigators say she has no visible injuries.
