ORLANDO, Fla. - In the aftermath of the Pulse attack, the WWE has offered Orlando its support.
Tuesday, the City of Orlando released a large number of texts, emails, and other documents related to the Pulse nightclub shooting.
Among the emails to Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer is one from Stephanie McMahon, the Chief Brand Officer of the WWE and daughter of CEO Vince McMahon.
In McMahon’s June 16 email to Mayor Dyer, she expresses her sympathy and condolences to the city which she describes as WWE’s “second home.”
She described the moment of silence that started Monday Night RAW the day after the tragedy and asked “if there was more we could be doing.”
In the email McMahon says the WWE is brainstorming ideas to raise money for the OneOrlando fund.
The WWE’s Performance Center, NXT brand, and WrestleMania are all headquartered in Orlando.
No plans have been announced for a fundraiser but Mayor Dyer wrote back thanking McMahon and told her someone from the City would be in touch with her.
