Sanford, Florida - Police are looking for the who person stole two English bulldogs from a home in Sanford.

Roberta Fowler says someone stole her English Bulldogs, Kara and Buity. "They just disappeared."

According to Sanford police, a contractor was working in their backyard and asked Roberta to take him to the store, but when they returned, the dogs were gone.

"I could not believe the dogs were not in the cage. I kind of panicked."Roberta says it happened on Monday between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The dogs were inside a bedroom, where they were kept inside a cage. "Somebody definitely took the dogs from the cage. I know for a fact someone took the dogs out of the cage."

Roberta says the front door was locked, she says there's a chance the thief may have come through a back door.

Roberta isn't sure who took her precious pets. She's been contacting local animal shelters just in case. "Why do you think someone would take them? They're worth a lot. They're pure bread English Bulldogs, they're $2,000 dogs, so that means they're $4,000."

Roberta's offering a $100 dollar reward for each pet if they're returned. "I think someone stole them for the wrong intentions and that's why I want them home, I don't want them hurt."

Anyone with information on the dogs, which are a year old, should contact the Sanford Police Department. "What do they mean to you? A lot, they're part of our family. I've had them since they were babies. I grew up."
