Polls are officially open in the Sunshine State and will remain so until 7 p.m. Tuesday night. Many have participated in early voting across Florida so lines are expected to be moderate across the state Tuesday.
Voters will also head to the polls in Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, and North Carolina. For the Republicans there are 358 delegates at stake. The Democrats will battle for 691 delegates.
Bill Cowles, the Orange County Supervisor of Elections predicts 41 percent total turnout, which is about the same as in 2008. In Seminole County, officials predict a 45 percent turnout. In the GOP race in Florida Republicans have a 25 percent turnout for early voting which it a dramatic jump compared to 2008.
