VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. - An early morning crash involving a postal truck has I-4 shut down in Volusia County.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 5:09 Monday morning.
Troopers say that there was a large piece of tire in the middle of I-4 westbound lanes.
The 73 year-old driver of the postal truck swerved to avoid the debris which caused the truck to jacknife, said FHP.
The driver escaped with only minor injuries, however there is a fuel spill which will take some time to clean up.
FHP says it's unknown how long the westbound lanes will remain closed.
