Santa Claus uses sign language to communicate with hearing-impaired children

Santa Claus can communicate with all children no matter what language they speak, even if that includes not speaking at all through the use of sign language.

In Colorado "Sign Language Santa" makes his annual visit to Cherry Creek Mall in Denver.  On Wednesday hundreds of hearing impaired children got the chance to personally tell Saint Nick what they would like for Christmas this year.

"It's just a really heartwarming day to watch all of these kids get to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what they want in their language," said the mall;s marketing director Dave Dixon.

Nearly 300 hundred kids from different schools in the Denver area were brought in to meet and sign with Santa.
