11 dogs rescued from hole after storm

A Michigan Humane Society worker rescued 11 puppies behind a Detroit home on Wednesday.

The rescue happened as the city was hit by heavy rain, thunder, and lightning.

Workers Chris Ouwerkerk and Pam Dybowski say they feared the puppies might drown if water filled the hole where they were hiding form the weather.

Workers have set traps near the home in hopes of catching the mother of the puppies and reuniting them.
