Arcadian Broad's Beauty and the Beast readies for debut

- Arcadian Broad, one of Orlando Ballet’s principal dancers, is putting the final touches on his rendition of the classic Beauty and the Beast as he prepares for its debut this Friday night, April 29, 2016, at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

At the age of 20, Broad is believed to be one of the youngest people ever to have staged, choreographed and composed the music for a full length professional ballet production.  The live music he composed for the final show of the 2015-16 season will be provided by the Central Florida Community Arts Symphony Orchestra.

Arcadian was first discovered when he competed on NBC’s America’s Got Talent seven years ago at the age of 13 and made it to the semi-finals. Soon after his run on the AGT, he appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
