Mike Synan specializes in politics and government spending, and comes to Fox 35 in September of 2010 after 13 years at 580 WDBO in Orlando. He is a winner of the Edward R. Murrow award for Best Continuing Coverage of the arrest of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and the subsequent dropping of the charges.
Mike was also the runner up in 2009 for Best Radio Journalist in the state of Florida, and has won multiple Associated Press Awards. Mike has been a correspondent for both ESPN and Fox Sports Radio, and used to hold the moniker "the sportsaholic".
Mike is a proud graduate of Clemson University, and has lived in Orlando since 1993. He is married with a 2 year old daughter.
